About Camp Fiver

Camp Fiver is the cornerstone program of the Fiver Children's Foundation.  The camp grounds are only used during the months of June through August.  Fiver's youth development and camp programs focus on cultivating character, helping children learn to work as a team, try new things, and make good decisions that translate into success in school, careers, and life.  During school year, the staff relocates to their New York City offices to continue guiding these children.

About the Name

Fiver is a rabbit character in the novel, Watership Down by Richard Adams. The book was a favorite of Fiver’s founder, Tom Tucker, and the rabbit, Fiver, had always stood out as the visionary.  Fiver demonstrated courage in leading his family to a safe new home, away from the dangers that awaited them if they failed to move.  As such, the Fiver Children’s Foundation was formed.
